First Easter

Holidays are fun with children, and this was a first holiday with Brayden. Easter this year fell on a beautiful sunny day here in the pacific northwest.

 

Brayden got an Easter basket filled with little toys to enjoy. Of course we didn't forget the true reason for the day. We attended our church service that morning. We are so grateful for our Savior and the knowledge we have of his resurrection.

For our Easter dinner we were invited to share in a meal with our friends just a few houses away. Everyone at dinner is stationed here on the island. We've all become a family to each other as we've gotten closer in our military career.  It was a great way to enjoy the beautiful weather and celebrate Easter.
